So have you ever said something that you meant one way, and it was taken completely in the wrong way? Well if your like me, of course you have. Are apologies necessary?
Depends... how bad was the infraction and how close are you to the person? The bigger the deal and the closer to the person the more likely you should probably offer an apology. That is just my two cents!
I did extend an apology, I laid awake that night not able to sleep because I kept replaying the event in my mind. I guess I was flabbergasted that she took offense, when no offense was intended on my part. It really took me off guard.
